First, we would like to say thank you to the Hearthstone community. When we started the Data Reaper Project in May 2016 we never anticipated that it would be as well received as it was or that it would spread as quickly as it did. With that said, let me quickly tell you a little more about us and what we ask ourselves before starting any new projects.
The quality and trustworthiness of our content matters. It matters to us, and we know it matters to you. We receive a lot of suggestions and feedback. Most of it is fantastic but before we can implement any of it we ask ourselves two things:
- Can our data produce reliable conclusions?
- Can we consistently provide this feature or content piece?
If either of the above questions is answered “No” we will not move forward with a project. A Wild Data Reaper Report was one of the earliest projects you asked for. Until now, the answer to that 2nd question has always been “No”.
Well, we’re happy to announce that our first Wild Report will be coming this Sunday, June 11th. We are happy to team up with the team at r/WildHearthstone, who will be writing the report with the support of our statistics. Expect to see quite a few surprises and perceptions being broken, as the Metagame in this format is unexplored, and quite wild!
We aim to publish a Wild report every 4 weeks on Sundays at 9am Pacific Time. As always, we thank you for the support and hope to produce more quality content that will satisfy your Hearthstone related needs.
